Agra / Two prize crooks caught after the encounter, guns and cash recovered

Two bounty (25-25 thousand) miscreants, Neeraj Rana and Rajendra alias Ghenta, who are wanted for murder and theft, have been arrested in a police encounter at the old lady of Etmadpur in Agra. Both have been shot in the leg. Stolen jewelery and cash have been recovered from both of them. Both have been sent for treatment.

It has been told that both the miscreants had come to take clothes on the old lady's rhythm. On information, the police laid siege and caught both of them in the early hours of Sunday. Two pistols and two live cartridges were also recovered from them.

Police station in-charge Arun Kumar Balian told that there was a reward of 25-25 thousand on both of them. He had come to his house to pick up his clothes at the age of the old lady. On the information of the informer, both were caught during the encounter. Neeraj Rana was a clever crook. More than half a dozen cases are registered against him in Etmadpur and Udaipur.
