Uttar Pradesh | The demand for renaming the Taj Mahal as Tejo Mahalaya has intensified again. Now the Municipal Corporation will also resonate in the House. BJP councilor Shobharam Rathore has decided to make it a proposal and present it in the meeting of the Municipal Corporation to be held on Wednesday. The officials are silent on this, but the mayor says that the motion has come, it will be read in the house and after considering all the aspects, further action will be taken.Councilor Shobharam Rathore argues that the Municipal Corporation has renamed roads and intersections in four and a half years. Therefore, now he will present a proposal to rename the Taj Mahal as Tejo Mahalaya in the Municipal Corporation.Councilor's argumentThe name Taj Mahal has been given to the monument by a foreign traveler which is an aberration of the original name Tejo Mahalaya. Till date the word palace is not associated with any cemetery in the world. There is historical and written evidence that the said complex was the property of Raja Jai Singh. Which was captured by Shah Jahan.
- The love story of Shah Jahan seems to be fictionalized and composed, as Shah Jahan had many wives.
- The real name of the so-called queen Mumtaz was Arjumand Bano.
- The alleged Mumtaz i.e. Arjumand Bano died about 22 years before the construction of the said monument in Burhanpur.
- At present also the tomb of Arjumand Bana exists in Burhanpur.
- How was Mumtaz's dead body safe for so many years? There is no clear mention of this, there is a contradictory statement recorded in this context in the emperor's name of Shah Jahan himself.
- After research by historian Tavernier, Peter Mundi, Aurangzeb's letters and historian PN Oak, it is proved that 'Taj Mahal' is a temple building. Which has been unauthorizedly captured and tried to give it a Mughal appearance by restoration.
