In many areas of Delhi-NCR, the rain has made the weather pleasant since morning. According to the department, the temperature may decrease by six to seven degrees due to rain and cold winds. According to Skymet Weather, light rain may occur at one or two places in some parts of Delhi.

Monsoon was expected to knock in Delhi on Wednesday. The department had predicted that the monsoon may knock in Delhi on June 29 or 30. Today it is expected from the rain that the monsoon has reached the capital. Today winds will blow at a speed of 30-40 kmph. According to the department, there will be light rain from July 2 to 4. There will be heavy rain from July 5.

Chances of rain for three days

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in different parts of the capital Delhi for the next three days. In view of the possibility of rain with strong wind, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for Thursday. After the heat of the day, there was a change in the weather of Delhi after 6 pm. Clouds and cool winds provided some relief to the people from the heat.

Orange Alert for Thursday

The Meteorological Department has forecast that light to moderate rain will occur in different parts of Delhi on Thursday. During this, the wind speed can also remain up to 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. In view of this, an orange alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department. Light to moderate rain is expected on Friday and Saturday as well.

On Wednesday, people got the right scorching heat

People had to face scorching heat in Delhi on Wednesday. During this time the level of humidity in the air was high. Delhi's Standard Observatory, Safdarjung, recorded a maximum temperature of 40.9 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, which is four degrees above normal. At the same time, the minimum temperature was 28.8 degrees Celsius, which is one degree above normal. The humidity level here ranged from 77 to 41 per cent. In areas like Najafgarh and Jafarpur, the temperature crossed 42 degree Celsius.
