AUS vs PAK: The Test match being played between Australia and Pakistan in Sydney is David Warner's last Test. After this match, Warner will say goodbye to Test and ODI. It was expected that Warner would do wonders in this last Test match at home but this left-handed batsman could not play a big innings in the first innings. Warner also got a lease of life in this innings but he could not take advantage of it and returned to the pavilion after getting out on 34 runs. Now Warner will be expected to score big in the second innings.

Warner had said long before this series that he would say goodbye to this format after the Test match against Pakistan to be played at Sydney Cricket Ground. After this Warner had told that he is also saying goodbye to ODI cricket.

Gave a good start to the team

Warner had started his innings well, but he could not convert his innings into a big innings. However, this batsman definitely did the work which the team needed. Warner, along with his special friend Usman Khawaja, gave a good start to the team. Together they added 70 runs. When Warner seemed to be set, Agha Salman ended his innings. Pakistan captain Shan Masood, seeing the fast bowlers failing, handed the ball to Salman. Salman's off spin worked and Warner was out. The ball that hit Salman's leg stump bounced higher and took the upper edge of Warner's bat while taking the turn. The ball went in the air and Babar Azam, standing in the slip, took a brilliant catch while leaning towards the right.

Debutant dropped the catch

Earlier, when Warner was on 20 runs, Saim Ayub, who was playing his first Test match, dropped his catch. Amar Jamal was bowling the 14th over. He threw the very first ball to Warner. This ball was in the line of off stump, which Warner tried to defend lightly. But the ball took the outer edge of his bat and went into slip. Standing there was Ayub playing his first test match. This catch was quite easy but the ball slipped from Ayub's hands and Warner got a lease of life. However, Warner could not take advantage of this.
