On comparing Ram Setu with Adi Purush, Om Raut said, 'Ramayana is our history, and being a devotee of Lord Rama, I am very happy that it is shown in Ram Setu that whatever happened is not just a story. This film will tell the world and our new generation that Ramayana is our history and not just any religious story. I also told Akshay sir that I feel proud about this film. This will show everyone that we have Ram Janmabhoomi, Panchavati and Ram Setu.

Let us tell you that Ram Setu will be released on Diwali this year and along with Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrat Bharucha will be seen in the lead roles in the film. Both the films are related to mythology and Ramayana, so it is being compared to the film Adipurush. On the one hand, where Ram Setu will clash with Ajay Devgan's Thank God, on the other hand the controversy is going on regarding Adi Purush.

Why the name of the movie Aadipurush?

The 3D teaser of the film Adipurush was shown to some journalists on the previous day, which was liked. During this, the question was asked to Om Raut that why the name of the film was kept as Adi Purush.. Why not Ramayana or Maryada Purushottam Ram etc.? On this Om says, 'If you pay attention, our Ramayana is not such that you can finish it in just 3 hours. In the Ramayana, along with Lord Rama, the lives of Mother Sita and all others have also been introduced and it is difficult to do this in just three hours. That's why there is more focus on only one part in the film and that is from Sita Maa's abduction to Ravana's slaughter. The way Om Raut used to see Ramayana 10 years ago, he does not see it today and maybe for the coming ten years my point of view will be different. It is probably with everyone, so the Ram whom I am seeing and showing in the film is mighty, better than the best, best in qualities. So here in the film Adi does not mean beginning but paramount.
