The recent floods in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have caused massive devastation. During this crisis, many stars of South cinema have come forward to help. Pawan Kalyan, Prabhas, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, and others have made big donations to the CM Relief Fund, providing relief to the affected.

Flood Relief: Recently, the flood situation in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana has become extremely serious due to heavy rains, causing huge loss of life and property of thousands of people. Seeing this scene of devastation in the flood-affected areas, many big stars and celebrities of South Cinema have been actively involved in the relief efforts. Their humanitarian initiative has shown a ray of hope for the affected people.

Pawan Kalyan - ₹ 6 crore

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan has made the biggest contribution to flood relief. He has donated a huge amount of ₹ 6 crore, including ₹ 1 crore to the CM Relief Fund of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and ₹ 1 lakh each to 400 panchayats (total ₹ 4 crore). As Panchayat Raj Minister, Pawan has also provided funds for the distribution of relief material in the panchayats.

Prabhas - ₹2 crore

'Baahubali' star Prabhas has donated ₹2 crore for the flood-affected areas of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. He provided ₹1 crore each to the CM Relief Fund of both the states. Prabhas shared the donation on social media and said that he is with the affected people and is trying to provide them all possible help.

Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan - ₹2 crore

Cinema veteran Chiranjeevi and his son Ram Charan have also contributed to the relief efforts. Chiranjeevi has donated ₹1 crore, of which ₹50 lakh has gone to Telangana and ₹50 lakh to Andhra Pradesh CM Relief Fund. Ram Charan has also donated ₹1 crore, of which each state has received ₹50 lakh. The two expressed their condolences and said that this is the time to unite and help.

Allu Arjun and Jr NTR - ₹1 crore

Allu Arjun and Jr NTR have also donated ₹50 lakh each (total ₹1 crore) to the CM Relief Fund of each state. Allu Arjun said that he is praying for everyone's safety, while Jr NTR wished for the speedy recovery of the affected people.

Mahesh Babu and Nagarjuna - ₹1 crore

Mahesh Babu also contributed ₹1 crore to the relief efforts and appealed to others to help. Nagarjuna and his family donated ₹1 crore, out of which ₹50 lakh each has been given to the relief funds of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Nagarjuna said that this is the time to unite and help.

Balakrishna, Sai Dharam Tej, Sidhu Jonnalagadda and Varun Tej

Actor-politician Balakrishna also donated ₹1 crore for flood relief, out of which ₹50 lakh has been given to the CM Relief Fund of each state. Sai Dharam Tej contributed ₹25 lakh, while Sidhu Jonnalagadda donated ₹30 lakh. Varun Tej donated ₹15 lakh, out of which the amount has been given to the CM Relief Fund and Panchayat Raj Department.

Other contributors

Other stars and directors like Vishwak Sen, Sonu Sood, Trivikram Srinivas and Venky Atluri have also joined this relief effort. They have made significant contributions to help the flood victims of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

The donations and assistance of all these celebrities have proved that the world of South cinema is also not behind in fulfilling its social obligations in times of crisis. These efforts to help the flood-affected people have given a message of solidarity and sympathy to the people.
