In Bangalore, a woman applied for a divorce from her husband after she learned that her husband had started working as an escort. His husband was known as Jigolo in the city. The husband entered the profession after losing his BPO job due to lockdown.In fact, the 24-year-old woman met while on the job and married sometime in mid-2017 at the BPO's office canteen. Like many people, her 27-year-old husband lost his job and started looking for work when the lockdown was implemented due to COVID-19.

After some time, the wife noticed Pati's unusual behavior as her husband was very busy with his laptop and mobile phone. The husband suddenly and vaguely began to visit the places about which he did not properly tell the wife anything.

In mid-November, when the wife found such things suspicious, she enlisted the help of her brother. When the brother opened the husband's laptop, he had a secret folder containing several nude pictures of her husband and selfie of semi-naked women.

It was then revealed that her husband was working as a male escort for Rs 3,000 to Rs 5,000 an hour and had many customers in the city.

At first, the husband denied that he was a Jigolo, but when the wife reached the women's helpline at the Malleswaram police station with the help of her friends, the girl finally accepted that she had become a Jigolo.

The husband was now ready to leave the job and started working the way, but the wife was adamant that she wanted to quit. The couple has now filed a divorce petition in the city court with mutual consent.
