Pakistan Train Hijack: In Pakistan's Balochistan province on Tuesday, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) hijacked the Jaffar Express going from Quetta to Peshawar at the Bolan Pass and took the passengers hostage. The rescue operation has been going on for the last 28 hours, but all the hostages have not been rescued yet. Meanwhile, there are reports that the Pakistan government has sent more than 200 coffins to Quetta, the capital of Balochistan, raising fears that the death toll may be much higher than the official figures.

More than 200 coffins sent to Quetta

Railway officials have confirmed that more than 200 coffins have been brought to Quetta to be sent to Bolan in Balochistan. The Pakistan Army has so far failed to rescue all the hostages. However, the Pakistan government claims that these coffins have been sent under the protocol, so that they can be used in any unpleasant situation.

According to Pakistani media reports, so far 155 passengers have been rescued and 27 fighters of the Baloch Liberation Army have been killed. But more than 100 passengers are still in the custody of BLA. At the same time, BLA has claimed that 30 Pakistani soldiers have been killed in this attack. However, this claim has not been confirmed yet.

Suicide bombers are sitting among the passengers

According to reports, BLA has deployed its suicide bombers among the hostages, who are wearing suicide jackets. Because of this, the rescue operation has become more challenging for the Pakistani army.

The Pakistan government claims that 155 passengers have been rescued so far, but no official statement has come yet. Meanwhile, Baloch terrorists have warned the government that if Baloch political prisoners, activists and missing people are not released in the next 48 hours, they will start killing the hostages one by one.

Rising incidents of militancy in Balochistan

The Baloch Liberation Army has been active in Pakistan's Balochistan province for a long time and is running a separatist movement. The BLA claims that the Pakistan government is doing injustice to the Baloch people and exploiting their natural resources.

This attack has become a major security crisis for Pakistan and the incident has again focused attention on the growing militancy in Balochistan. Now it remains to be seen how the Pakistan government and army deal with this crisis and whether they will be able to rescue the hostages safely.
