Actress Dia Mirza has shared good news on social media. She gave birth to a baby boy on 14 May 2021. Diya has written an emotional post sharing the photo of her son's hand. Along with this, also told about the complications and emergency delivery in pregnancy. Diya told why she kept this news a secret till 2 months after the birth of the son

Diya posted and wrote- 'Having a child means you always have to decide that your heart will always be moving outside your body. These words are a perfect example of Vaibhav and my feelings at this time.'

'Our heartthrob, our son Avyan Azad Rekhi was born on 14th May. Our baby has been looked after by nurses and doctors in the ICU since early birth.

Diya further wrote- 'I had a sudden appendectomy during my pregnancy. And later there was a serious bacterial infection, due to which there could be a risk of sepsis. Thankfully, due to timely care and doctors, our baby was born safely through emergency C-section.

With this, Diya has thanked the doctors and nurses for taking care of her child. Diya told- He will come home soon and his elder sister Samaira and grandparents are waiting to take him in their arms.

Diya wrote- 'To my fans, I just want to say - your concern always means a lot to me and if it was possible to share this news earlier, we would have. Thank you all for your love, faith and prayers.'
