According to experts, India is engaged in increasing its exports. At the same time, it is planning to limit imports. In such a situation, further increase in forex reserves can be seen in the coming days. In the last one week, forex reserves have seen an increase of more than 4 billion dollars. Such occasions are rarely seen, when forex reserves increase by more than 4 billion dollars in two consecutive weeks. Foreign exchange reserves at record level

The country's foreign exchange reserves rose by $4.307 billion i.e. about Rs 36 thousand crores to a new high of $655.817 billion in the week ended June 7. In the previous week, the foreign exchange reserves had reached the level of $651.51 billion with a jump of $4.837 billion i.e. more than Rs 40 thousand crores. Earlier, the highest level of foreign exchange reserves was $648.87 billion on May 10. A significant increase has been seen in foreign exchange reserves in the last few weeks.

Increase of 76 thousand crores in two weeks

If we talk about the last two weeks, then the country's foreign exchange reserves have seen an increase of more than $9.14 billion i.e. Rs 76 thousand crores. Due to which the country's foreign exchange reserves have not only reached the level of $650 billion but have gone far beyond that. If we look at the figures, the foreign exchange reserves have seen an increase of $32.62 billion i.e. more than Rs 2.72 lakh crore so far in the current year. According to experts, the country's foreign exchange reserves can reach the level of $700 billion in the current year.

These also increased

According to the Reserve Bank data, foreign currency assets, which are considered an important part of the currency reserves, increased by $3.773 billion to $576.337 billion in the week ending June 7. On the other hand, the Reserve Bank said that the gold reserve increased by $481 million to $56.982 billion in the last week. SDR has increased by $43 million to $18.161 billion. According to the Reserve Bank, India's reserve deposit with the International Monetary Fund i.e. IMF has also increased by $10 million to $4.336 billion.
