During Ganpati immersion in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, major accidents took place at many places. Many people lost their lives in these accidents. Apart from Mahendragarh in Haryana, there was mourning in the family due to the drowning of many people in Sonipat.

According to media reports, 15 people have lost their lives in accidents at different places in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh during Ganesh Visarjan. At the same time, many people were rescued after drowning.

According to the information, an 8-foot Ganesh idol was being taken for immersion in Mahendragarh. During this, 9 youths got washed away in the strong current of water. The district administration carried out the rescue operation with the help of NDRF. During the rescue operation, the bodies of 4 youths were taken out while the rest were successful in saving. After the rescue, everyone was admitted to the hospital.

According to the information, 5 people had gone to perform Ganesh immersion at Pariyar Gangaghat in Safipur Kotwali area, during which they died due to drowning in the river.
