The woman, who was gangraped in Nagaur, Rajasthan, died 13 days later. The woman died late Thursday evening at Sawai Mansingh Hospital in Jaipur. The victim woman was fighting between life and death on a ventilator for seven days. There were deep nail scratch marks on his body and private part was also injured. The accused had gang-raped him and threw him in a ditch in a state of unconsciousness. Due to being here for six days, his body was infested with worms. There was great negligence of the police in this case.what is the matterA married woman had gone missing in village Palot of Didwana subdivision of Nagaur. The family members had registered a case in the police station raising doubts on two people. The family kept on coming to the police station every day and pleading with the police to find him, but CI Narendra Jakhar had gone on leave. When SP Ramamurthy Joshi reached Didwana police station to inquire about a case of robbery, the family members of the woman met him sitting in the police station. When the SP asked him the reason for coming to the police station, he gave information about the whole matter. Soon after, the questioning was started after apprehending the suspects. It was revealed during interrogation that the accused had thrown the woman into a ditch outside the village in a bloody state after the gangrape.Injury marks on private parts of womanThe police team found the woman in an unconscious state in a ditch. There were injury marks on his private parts and fingernail marks on his body. Due to the wounds on the body, insects had fallen. The woman was admitted to Bangar Hospital for treatment in critical condition. From here he was referred to Sawai Mansingh Hospital. He died late Thursday evening after struggling in the hospital for seven days. SP Ramamurthy Joshi has suspended SHO Narendra Jakhar and head constable Prahlad Singh, who were negligent in the case.
