In view of the deteriorating situation in Ukraine, Air India on Friday announced to operate three flights between India and Ukraine. Of these, the first flight will be operated on February 22, the second on February 24 and the third on February 26. These planes will take off from Boryspil International Airport in Ukraine. Air India said about this that ticket booking can be done through Air India's booking office, call center and authorized travel agent.The Indian government on Thursday asked Indian airlines to operate chartered flights from Ukraine to India. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi had said that flights from Ukraine to other countries are operational, but not to India. Taking a big decision, the Ministry of Civil Aviation has also lifted the ban on the number of flights between the two countries under the air bubble arrangement, so that Indians stranded here can return home.In fact, the Indian government is trying to ensure the safe return of Indian citizens, especially students, from Ukraine, but the spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs says that the ministry has no plans to evacuate Indian nationals from Ukraine. The Ministry of External Affairs has clearly said that special flights are not being arranged to evacuate Indian citizens. India has advised its citizens to temporarily return from Ukraine.
