In a meeting with OTT platforms after the Parliament session, he said that the government's aim is to grow the industry, but obscenity will not be tolerated in the name of self-regulation.

Obscenity cannot be tolerated under the guise of freedom, hurting religious sentiments often leads to many problems, after which many types of chaos start taking place.

Emphasizing the need to strike a balance between entertainment and society, the Information and Broadcasting Minister said, 'The aim of the government is to grow business. The entertainment industry is growing at the rate of 28 percent every year and has huge potential for employment and revenue generation.
