Rape Case / Arrived at the doctor house to deliver food found alone raped the woman arrested

A female doctor was raped at the same house on Tuesday night in Odisha's Angul district. A 35-year-old man has been arrested for raping. The accused, Sukant Behera, is the son of a Dhaba owner who raped the doctor for 32 years. The accused committed this rape while delivering food at the doctor's house in Chhendipara area.

As per reports, the victim works in a health center and was staying with her brother in the official quarters allotted by the centre. Police said she was alone in her official quarters when the incident took place.

On Tuesday, the victim's brother sent her food from a local dhaba, where he himself was having food. Sakunt Behera reached the victim's house around 11 pm with food and after finding the victim alone, he forcibly entered the house and allegedly raped the doctor.

Sister-brother has lodged an FIR at Chhendipara police station. Based on the complaint, Behera was arrested and the doctor was sent for medical examination.
