Ahmedabad / Baba Nityananda, Accused of Captivating Children in the Ashram, Ran Abroad

The disputed Swayambhu Baba Nityananda has left the country and escaped. It is said to be in the Caribbean country of Trinidad and Tobago. Gujarat police has registered a case against him for taking hostage of minor boys and girls in the ashram. There has been evidence of Nityananda leaving the country after the arrest of two female employees from the ashram. The police have asked to contact the Ministry of External Affairs for his extradition. A case of rape is also registered against accused Nityananda in Karnataka.

After this, Ministry spokesman Ravish Kumar said on Thursday that no official information has been received from the police or home ministry at the moment of Nityanand's escape from India. In which country is he not even aware of this. We have to gather information about his location and citizenship. Only then will you be able to start the process of bringing back Nityananda.

Raid on the ashram, Police rescued 2 Minors

Nityananda is accused of misusing children and holding them hostage in raising funds to run Yogini Sarv Gyanpeeth Ashram. Jarnadan Sharma of Ahmedabad has filed an FIR against him. In it he said that my daughter was a hostage in the ashram. After this, the police raided Nityananda's ashram on Wednesday and rescued two minors. Two female administrators of the ashram were also arrested. Many laptops, mobiles and other belongings were seized from the ashram.

RV Asari, SP (Rural), Ahmedabad said that Nityananda is not in the country, instead of spending time searching for him, we will adopt a legal process to get him detained from abroad. Will bring him to India soon. Two of his associates Harini Chelappan aka Maa Nitya Pranapriya Nanda (30) and Riddhi Ravikaran aka Maa Nitya Priyatva Nanda (24) have been sent to court on five days remand.

Two other people, including DPS headmaster, and two others, including Delhi Public School Principal Hitesh Puri, have also been arrested for hostage and mistreating the arrested children. DSP K T Kamariya said that Calorex Education, a trust associated with the DPS school, leased the land of the ashram to the school without informing the police. In this case, manager Bakul Thakkar has been arrested for giving houses to women from ashrams in Puri and Pushp City. The CBSE has sought a report in the matter of giving land to Nityananda's ashram.
