IND vs AUS: In the last match of the ODI series being played against Australia in Rajkot, the bowlers of Team India were badly beaten. In this match, Australia won the toss and chose to bat and only after that they started batting aggressively. This is the last match just before the ODI World Cup, in which the Indian bowlers looked completely defeated and the Kangaroo batsmen rained runs. Australia batted first in this match and scored 352.

Spinners wasted the most matches

In this match, Team India did not play Ravichandran Ashwin, instead only Kuldeep Yadav and Washington Sundar came on the field along with Ravindra Jadeja. Jadeja gave 61 runs, Washington gave 48 runs while both did not get a single wicket, Kuldeep Yadav got 2 wickets although he also gave 48 runs.

The three spinners gave a total of 157 runs in 26 overs and the Australian batsmen had a tough time. Let us tell you that out of these three spinners, only Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav are in Team India's World Cup squad. However, if we talk about the most expensive bowler, it was Jasprit Bumrah who gave 81 runs in 10 overs and also took 3 wickets.

  • Jasprit Bumrah- 10 overs, 81 runs, 3 wickets
  • Mohammad Siraj- 9 overs, 68 runs, 1 wicket
  • Prasidh Krishna- 5 overs, 45 runs, 1 wicket
  • Ravindra Jadeja- 10 overs, 61 runs
  • Washington Sundar- 10 overs, 48 runs
  • Kuldeep Yadav- 6 overs, 48 runs
Australia had made a fast start but…

If we look at the overall match, Australia had made a very fast start and started making noise from the very first over. Australia had scored 90 runs in the first 10 overs, while in the 27th over its score had crossed 200. However, in the last 20 overs, the bowlers of Team India stopped their pace and this was the reason that at one time the score which was looking close to 370, stopped at 350 only. Team India gave only around 70 runs in the last 10 overs.

How many runs have been conceded by the Indian bowlers can be gauged from the fact that this is the biggest score in ODI at this ground in Rajkot. Earlier, India had made a score of 340 against Australia, that is, if India has to win this match, then history will be created.
