Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced on Thursday that the youth of the state will be given ten thousand jobs in 100 days. He gave these instructions in a meeting with the presidents of all the selection commissions and boards of the state at his official residence. He said that all the recruitment examinations related to one session should be completed in the same session.The Chief Minister said that the State Government was committed to connect the youth with government jobs and provide them employment. In the last five years, the government has connected youth with 4.5 lakh government jobs. Like before, the state government has directed all the selection commissions, boards to fix 100-day, six-month and annual targets to give government jobs to the youth from the beginning of its second term. He directed all departments to send requisitions on time. He also inquired about the progress of digitization of the requisition system.Reservation to be followed in recruitmentThe Chief Minister said that the rules of reservation should be followed completely in the recruitment process. The rules of reservation should be mentioned in the advertisement of recruitment. To make the recruitment process fair, transparent, fair and corruption free, special care should be taken in the selection of examination agency and selection of examination centers. Preference should be given to government schools in determining the examination centres. The district administration should ensure that no center with a tainted image becomes an examination centre. The convenience of the candidates should be kept in mind while deciding the examination centre. The verification of the candidates should be completed within the stipulated time. He directed to make the recruitment processes as per the recommendations of the Paliwal Committee.The Chief Minister said that the recruitment examinations should be completed by communicating and coordinating with the concerned institutions, government, concerned department and district administration. Also, efforts should be made to reduce the duration of the recruitment process. Also, the recruitment process should be completed in a simple and time bound manner. There should be maximum use of technology in the recruitment process. Apart from the members, the experienced persons should also be included in the interview panel. He said that the recruitment process of the deceased dependents should be completed in the stipulated time in a better and sensitive manner.The meeting was attended by the chairpersons of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission, Police Recruitment Board, Higher Education Service Selection Commission and Secondary Education Selection Board as well as Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary Appointment and Personnel, Additional Chief Secretary Home, Additional Chief Secretary Higher Education, Additional Chief Secretary Secondary Education were present.Distribute smartphones to the beneficiaries soonThe Chief Minister said that preparations should be expedited for distribution of smartphones and laptops to the beneficiaries in all the districts of the state. It should be ensured that laptops and smartphones are distributed to the students in the presence of MPs and MLAs in all the districts.
