Earlier on Wednesday, a drone from Pakistan had entered India's border. At around 2.50 pm on Tuesday-Wednesday, the drone was sent to BOP Havelis from Pakistan side. The BSF shot down the drone by firing about 19 rounds. The drone was manufactured by a Chinese company and its model was VM 3315.

Drone also came on Sunday-Monday

On the intervening night of Sunday-Monday, a Pakistan drone was shot down by BSF jawans on the Indo-Pak border in Tarn Taran. During this, about 48 rounds were fired. BSF had recovered four packets of heroin including a drone. In this, about five kilograms of heroin was recovered, whose value in the international market has been estimated at 200 million.

BSF caught nine kg heroin from the border

In Firozpur, the Border Security Force (BSF) had recovered nine kg of heroin packed in two bags from the outskirts. Its value has been estimated at Rs 45 crores. This heroin was ordered by an Indian smuggler from Pak smugglers, which fell into the hands of BSF. This incident took place on Wednesday morning near BOP Maboke of BSF under Ferozepur sector. According to BSF officials, along with the fencing on the border, battalion-136 personnel were patrolling during the night. They felt the movement of Pakistani smugglers during the night.

In the morning, a special search operation was conducted in the area. Nine packets of heroin were found lying in white and blue bags in Indian fields across the fencing, which were kept by Pakistani smugglers. His Indian comrades could take it from there. The weight of heroin in the said packets is estimated to be nine kilograms. It is noteworthy that last week about eight packets of heroin were recovered from Fazilka BSF Sector and Khemkaran. Senior BSF officers say that the vigil of the soldiers on the border has been increased. Pak smugglers are failing to deliver heroin to their Indian comrades. Not only this, BSF Pak drone has also been shot down by firing.
