Rajasthan Politics: Cabinet expansion will take place in Rajasthan on Saturday. Governor Kalraj Mishra will administer oath to the new ministers at 3:15 pm. A long meeting was held between Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, State President CP Joshi, senior leader Rajendra Rathore and state co-in-charge Vijaya Rahatkar till late Wednesday night to reach a consensus on the names. It is being told that almost all the names have been finalized in this meeting.

These are the strong contenders
There is a strong possibility of Dr. Kirori Lal Meena, one of the most prominent leaders of Eastern Rajasthan, joining the cabinet. At the same time, Hindutva face and Tijara MLA Baba Balaknath can also be a part of the Bhajanlal cabinet. Among the female faces, eyes are on Anita Bhadel, Deepti Maheshwari and first-time MLA Nauksham Chaudhary.

Jitendra Gothwal and senior MLA Madan Dilawar from Dalit class can also be made ministers. Supporters of senior MLAs from Rajput community like Pushpendra Singh Ranaut, Siddhi Kumari are hopeful that their leader will definitely become a minister this time. The Brahmin community also hopes that after the Chief Minister, one or two MLAs of the society can also become ministers. Therefore, MLAs like Sanjay Sharma, Sandeep Sharma, Jethanand Vyas are also in the race.

In the new cabinet, most of the attention will be focused on the representation given to the Jat community because no Jat face has been given a chance on even a single post like Chief Minister, two Deputy Chief Ministers and Speaker of the Assembly. In such a situation, now people's eyes are fixed on how many of the 12 Jat MLAs will be made ministers.

Bhajanlal Sharma took oath as CM on 15 December

Along with him, Diya Kumari and Premchand Bairwa were sworn in as Deputy CMs. The swearing-in ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP National President JP Nadda and Chief Ministers of many BJP ruled states.

After taking the oath, CM Bhajan Lal had said that I am emotional and humbled. The resolve of everyone's support, everyone's development, everyone's trust is paramount. We will leave no stone unturned to make Rajasthan the best, prosperous and self-reliant.
