New Delhi: The pace of corona is slowing down day-by-day across the country, but in the meantime, many experts including AIIMS Chief have said that the third wave of corona in India cannot be avoided. After the decreasing daily cases, now many states have started easing the corona restrictions, but before this relaxation becomes an expensive deal for the country, the Center has already told the states what precautions they should take. In this regard, Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla has written a letter to the secretaries of all the states and asked them to adopt the '3T+V' formula. In the letter, all the states have been told that while giving relaxation in restrictions, they should keep in mind the test-track-treat and vaccination i.e. 3T plus V formula. States have been instructed to follow corona protocols, such as wearing masks, sanitizing hands, social distancing and also working on ventilation in closed spaces. In many places, as soon as restrictions are relaxed, crowds are being seen in vegetable markets etc. and corona rules are not being taken care of.The Center has told the states that even though the cases of corona are decreasing but due to this the investigation rate should not decline. Since the situation is changing every moment, one should be alert for early signs like a slight increase in active cases or an increase in the positivity rate. If there is an increase in cases in a small area, then taking steps based on the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare should be limited to the local level.Apart from this, vaccination is the single biggest weapon against Corona at the moment. It is most helpful in breaking the chain of infection. Therefore, all the states and union territories have been asked to increase immunization so that maximum population can be vaccinated faster. In the end, the states have been asked to relax the restrictions but with conditions and keep a close watch on the situation so that the corona rules are not ignored at all.
