Active cases are also increasing in 36 states / union territories of the country. Increasing of active cases is not only a sign of the spread of infection, but it can also cause more and more deaths in the coming days.

In one day, 188 deaths of the corona virus were recorded inside the country, which is the highest since 14 January.

In India, 40 thousand 944 cases of Corona virus were registered on Friday, which was more than Thursday. Seven-day average cases have also increased by more than 5 percent, the highest since the onset of the epidemic.

On Friday, 25 thousand 681 cases of corona were registered in Maharashtra, which was slightly less than Thursday. In Mumbai alone, more than 3 thousand cases were registered on Friday, which is the highest number of cases within a day.

Apart from this, Punjab and Chandigarh have recorded the highest number of cases so far as compared to September last year. At the same time, Karnataka has reported the highest number of cases after November. For the first time since December, more than one thousand cases have been reported in Madhya Pradesh.
