J&K Election 2024: Ahead of the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has issued a strong statement, in which he has made strong remarks on terrorism, Pakistan and opposition parties. A day after releasing the election manifesto, Shah expressed his views on the political situation in Jammu and Kashmir and directly attacked the opposition parties.

Attack on Congress and Abdullah family

Amit Shah made sharp remarks about the Congress and Farooq Abdullah government in Jammu and Kashmir. He clearly said that the government of Congress and Abdullah family can never be formed in Jammu and Kashmir. Shah also instructed his workers to inform the common people that those who insulted Hari Singh Maharaja, such people have no right to win. He accused the National Conference, PDP and Congress that these three families have touched the extreme limits of corruption.

Abdullah family and terrorism

Amit Shah targeted the Abdullah family and said that whenever the activities of terrorism increase in Jammu and Kashmir, then this family goes abroad. He appealed to the people of Jammu not to vote for the National Conference and Congress, because by electing these parties, terrorism will increase again, the development of Jammu and Kashmir will stop and people will have to struggle for their rights.

Question on the intention of the opposition

Shah accused the opposition of wanting to bring out people involved in stone pelting and terrorist activities from jail, which can again spoil the atmosphere of the valley. He said that the opposition wants to disturb the peace of peaceful areas like Jammu, Poonch and Rajouri, and this election is important so that the people can change this situation.

State status and opposition's claims

Amit Shah also attacked the opposition's promise of giving separate state status to Jammu and Kashmir. He said that the opposition leaders are repeating my words, but only the Government of India has the right to give state status. He reminded that on August 5 and 6, he had already said that Jammu and Kashmir will get state status after the elections.

Warning to Pakistan

Amit Shah also challenged Pakistan, saying that for the first time elections are being held in Jammu and Kashmir under the Indian Constitution and this election is being held after the removal of Article 370. Shah made it clear that until peace is established in Jammu and Kashmir, there can be no talks with Pakistan.

Government's commitment and direction of development

Amit Shah emphasized that the Modi government is fully committed to the development of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that important institutions like AIIMS, IIT and colleges have been established here during the tenure of the Modi government. Shah also said that terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir has decreased after the removal of 370, and the government is trying to root out this issue.

This statement of Amit Shah can have a huge impact on the political and social situation of Jammu and Kashmir and can also affect the political atmosphere for the upcoming assembly elections.
