Turkey Earthquake: Four countries of the Middle East, Turkey (old name Turkey), Syria, Lebanon and Israel were shaken by an earthquake on Monday morning. The most devastation is being seen in the epicenter Turkey and the areas of Syria near it. More than 1600 people have died so far due to the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria on Monday morning. The tremors of this earthquake were also felt in Lebanon and Israel. People in Turkey and Syria were still asleep when this fire broke out. After this 66 aftershocks also came. Buildings fell like a pack of cards. According to Turkish media – two big shocks came. The first according to Turkish time, around 4 am (7.7) and the second around 10 am. The intensity of the second was considered to be 7.6. Apart from this, 78 aftershocks were recorded. Their intensity was 6.7 to 6.5.
585 people were killed in Syria and more than 1500 people were injured. The total death toll in both the countries has reached around 1600. Tremors were also felt in Lebanon and Israel, but no damage was reported here.
