Joe Root) has been made captain of 17-member team. This is the first series of both teams of the current season of the World Test Championship. In such a situation, both teams will not want to take it lightly. Team India lost to England from 1-4 in the Test series in 2018.

Fast bowler Oli Robinson was carried out due to the old social media dispute during the Test series against New Zealand. He has been included in the team again. Apart from this, Ben Stokes, Jose Butler, Johnny Baresto and Sam Karen have returned. Although fast bowler Chris Vox has not got the place due to injury. Fast bowler Jaffra Archer is not fully fit yet after surgery. David Mallan was not successful in making a place in the team.

Virat Kohli and Rahane are injured

Team India is playing a three-day practice match before Test. Though captain Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane are not playing due to injury in the match on Tuesday. Rahane has hamstring injection and he has been injected. In such a situation, it is difficult to fit for their first Test.
