New Delhi : In March itself, the heat is making the feeling of May and June. Since the second week of March, the maximum temperature of the capital has remained above 35 degree Celsius. March has not been so hot in the last five years. The maximum temperature on Monday was 39 degree Celsius. It was six degrees above normal. This is the third time in the last ten years that March has been so hot. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no relief from the heat this year. The temperature is expected to remain around 40 degrees for the next six days.

The Lucknow Meteorological Department on Monday recorded a maximum temperature of 39 and a minimum temperature of 22.1 degrees Celsius in the capital. Both the temperatures are six degrees Celsius above normal. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in these days was usually 33 and the minimum temperature was 16-17 degrees Celsius. But this time the heat is a bit too much.

Minimum temperature is also six degrees above normal

The night temperature is also increasing continuously. The minimum temperature at this time is generally around 16-17 degree Celsius. On Monday, it was recorded at 22.1, six degrees Celsius above normal. AC coolers are being used by people even in the night when the mercury rises.

Now the heat will increase

JP Gupta, Director of Meteorological Department, Lucknow, said that usually one or two western disturbances get ready in March. Due to which the weather changed. It also kept the temperature low. This time not a single Western Disturbance was prepared in March nor is there a possibility in the next one week. In this case, the heat will increase further.

The Meteorological Department said that the maximum temperature could reach 40 degrees in the next six days. Mercury can also break the record of 2017.
