West Bengal News: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has reacted strongly to the Bengal Bandh called by BJP. Describing the BJP as arrogant and corrupt, she alleged that central agencies were not sent to BJP-ruled states like UP and Rajasthan, while there is constant interference in Bengal.

Mamata talked about accepting the full demands of the victim's family and promised to get the accused hanged. She said that no action would be taken against the doctors and expressed concern about their future. Mamata called the death penalty necessary to stop rape and alleged that the CBI did not take any concrete steps in 16 days.

Mamata said that the assembly session will be called next week to pass a bill to ensure death penalty for rapists. Threatened to sit on a dharna if the Governor does not pass it.

She accused the BJP of defaming Bengal and spreading violence. Mamata challenged PM Modi to defeat him in the elections and said that the BJP is creating social unrest through cyber crimes. The Calcutta High Court rejected the petition regarding the bandh called by the BJP in Bengal, while a similar bandh was banned in Maharashtra.

Will accept all the demands of the victim's family

Mamata Banerjee said that all the demands of the victim's family will be met. The victim should get justice. The accused should be hanged. I do not want to take action against doctors. All doctors should return to work. I want to take a decision in favor of doctors. I do not want to spoil the future of doctors.

Rape accused should be hanged

The Chief Minister said that death penalty is necessary to stop rape. On Saturday, TMC women will demand death penalty. If we had the case in our hands, we would have got the accused hanged in seven days. This case has been with the CBI for 16 days but the agency has not taken any action. I will not take revenge. I will change Bengal. Outsiders are coming to Bengal and causing violence.

Government will make law to hang rape accused

Mamata Banerjee said that next week we will call the assembly session and pass a bill within 10 days to ensure death penalty for rapists. We will send this bill to the Governor. If he does not pass it, we will sit on dharna outside the Raj Bhavan. This bill must be passed and he cannot escape accountability this time.

Mamata mentioned the incidents of Manipur, UP and Maharashtra

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee said, "We have dedicated today's day to the doctor by doing RG. We want justice but BJP has called for a bandh today. They do not want justice. They are only trying to defame Bengal. Banerjee said that we do not support this bandh. BJP never demanded the resignation of the Chief Ministers of Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and even Manipur. We saw the pictures of yesterday (Nabanna Abhiyan Rally), I salute the police for handling the situation well.

Two warnings from BJP and Modi government

Mamata Banerjee alleged that ruckus is being done in Bengal at the behest of senior BJP leaders. Warning PM Modi, she said, "If you have courage, then show it by defeating them in the elections. BJP people are getting their people to incite violence. I have faced such situations before, I have fought standing in front of the gun.

This allegation was made on BJP

The CM alleged that the BJP is committing cyber crimes on a large scale using AI which is causing social unrest. Calcutta High Court dismissed the petition against the 'Bengal Bandh' called by the BJP, the petitioner was prevented from filing a PIL. While the Maharashtra Bandh was banned by the High Court there.
