Jammu-Kashmir Exit Poll: Votes have been cast for assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir after nearly 10 years. The Election Commission has conducted elections in three phases for 90 assembly seats of the Union Territory. Votes were cast for the first phase on September 18, for the second phase on 25 and for the third phase on October 1. A total of 63.88 percent voting has been recorded in the Union Territory. 69.69 percent voting was recorded for the third phase of elections while 61.38 and 57.31 percent voting was recorded for the first and second phases respectively. The voting results will be out on October 8, but before that the exit polls and poll estimates have come out.The central government abolished Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir in 2019. Along with this, Jammu and Kashmir was made a union territory by separating Ladakh. Now after about five years, assembly elections are being held in the state. Earlier there were a total of 83 assembly seats in the state which have increased to 90 after the new delimitation. Of these, there are 43 seats in Jammu region and 47 in Kashmir region. In this election, the main contest is between BJP, Congress-National Conference and PDP. However, some new parties and independent candidates can also play a big role.Congress-NC also leads on 47 seats in Kashmir regionAccording to the C Voter exit poll, BJP can get 0-1 seats on 47 seats in Kashmir region. At the same time, the Congress and National Conference alliance is expected to get 29-33 seats.Congress alliance also leads in People's Plus exit pollIn the People's Plus exit poll conducted for Jammu and Kashmir, BJP can get 23-27 seats, Congress and National Conference alliance can get 46-50 seats, PDP can get 7-11 seats and others can get 4-6 seats.Congress-NC ahead in Dainik Bhaskar exit pollAccording to Dainik Bhaskar exit poll estimates for Jammu and Kashmir, BJP may get 20-25 seats, Congress and National Conference 35-40, PDP 4-7 and others 12-16 seats.BJP ahead in 43 seats of Jammu regionC Voter exit poll for Jammu and Kashmir has come out.
