India-China Relation: After the military clash in the Galwan Valley of Ladakh in the year 2020, tension started to be seen in the relations between India and China. The result of this was that India started to expel many Chinese companies. Chinese apps were banned. Not only this, from the investment coming from China to the visas of the officials, a guard was put in place. But despite this, the saying 'Hindi-Chini Bhai-Bhai' is coming true.

Actually this is a matter of Indians liking Chinese brands, that too in the case of electronics related brands, where despite many restrictions, Chinese companies are not only doing business in India. But their sales are so tremendous that Indian brands are not able to stand in front of them.

Xiaomi, Vivo, Realme, Oppo are selling well

If we talk about Chinese electronics brands, then 4 Chinese brands Xiaomi, Realme, Vivo and Oppo dominate the Indian mobile handset market. These are among the top-5 phone brands of the country and only one brand Samsung is from South Korea. According to a report by Counterpoint Research and IDC, the sales of these 4 Chinese brands are between Rs 90,000 and Rs 95,000 crore.

Now there is no fear of poor quality

Industry experts believe that the reason for the increasing demand for Chinese brands is the removal of the fear of poor quality associated with Chinese products. Indians are considered to be customers who like good quality and features at low prices. These four Chinese brands have fulfilled this demand of Indian customers. That is why Indian customers are buying their products in large numbers.

According to a report by ET, not only Chinese phones are a part of the lives of Indians now. Due to the removal of the fear of poor quality and availability of more features at a low price, their dominance is now visible in the market of TVs, ACs and refrigerators as well. Haier is today the fourth largest brand in India in terms of refrigerators. Haier is also the fourth largest player in TV sales. Xiaomi is also among the top brands in the range of cheap TVs.
