He said in a rally in Siliguri on Thursday that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is spreading rumors about CAA that CAA will not be applicable to everyone. We will implement CAA in any case. He said that work on CAA will start as soon as the wave of corona subsides. Amit Shah has clearly said that CAA is on the agenda of the Center and it will be completed at any cost.

Mamta Banerjee said, why not pass the bill in Parliament

Reacting to this, the Chief Minister of West Bengal also said, 'He has come here after a year. They come every time, do dirty talk.' Mamta Banerjee said that this is a plan. If so why don't they get this bill passed in Parliament. I am telling you they are not coming to power in 2024. I don't want anybody's citizenship rights to be harmed. Our unity is our strength. There were widespread protests in late 2019 and early 2020 regarding the CAA.

CAA is and will be reality

According to the news of NDTV, Amit Shah said, 'I have come to North Bengal today. I want to make one thing very clear that Didi is spreading rumors about CAA that it cannot be implemented, but I want to say that CAA will be implemented as soon as the speed of Corona slows down. CAA is a reality and it will remain a reality. Trinamool Congress cannot do anything about it. Since the Citizenship Amendment Act came in 2019, it faced massive protests in Delhi's Shaheen Bagh for months till 2020. However, the government never came on the back foot regarding this. Now after not implementing it for so many days, it was being said that the government has put it in cold storage.

Mamta didi wants infiltration

But in Siliguri, West Bengal, Amit Shah has made it clear that this is just a rumour. He said that the Trinamool Congress is spreading the rumor that the citizenship law will never get off the ground. But I want to tell them that we will implement CAA. He said that as soon as the epidemic ends, we will implement it. "Mamata didi wants infiltration, but CAA is a reality, which will be implemented," he said.
