Uttar Pradesh: The issue of alleged rigging in the 69000 assistant teacher recruitment exam in Uttar Pradesh is hot. The Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court has ordered the government to issue a fresh merit list of the teacher recruitment exam within three months. After this decision of the court, brainstorming has started in the UP education department regarding the teacher recruitment process. An important meeting of many education department ministers and officers including CM Yogi is going to be held today. It is being said that the UP government can take a big decision today regarding the merit list of the teacher exam.

Today, brainstorming will be done in the meeting being held regarding the teacher recruitment process in the presence of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. According to information received from sources, it will be decided in the meeting whether the government will implement the decision of the High Court or will appeal to the Supreme Court regarding this decision.

Let us tell you that the double bench of Allahabad High Court has ordered to make a new list by bypassing the selection list of the teacher recruitment exam released in June 2020. This order of the court has shocked the UP government, and along with that, thousands of teachers who have been working for the last 4 years are at risk of losing their jobs due to the preparation of the new selection list. However, the court said in the order that if any assistant teacher currently working is adversely affected, then the benefit of the current session should be given so that the studies of the students are not adversely affected.

Let us tell you that the recruitment exam for 69000 assistant teacher posts was held on 6 January 2019 and the cutoff for unreserved category was 67.11 percent and the cutoff for OBC was 66.73 percent. Under this recruitment, about 68 thousand people have got jobs.
