In the Toshakhana case, the court had convicted former Prime Minister Imran Khan in August and sentenced him. After this, Pakistan Election Commission disqualified Imran Khan for five years.

Gohar Ali Khan becomes the new chairman of PTI

Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has been elected as the new president of PTI in place of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, who is currently in jail in Pakistan. Elections were conducted within the party following the orders of the Election Commission. Gauhar Khan was nominated for this post by Imran Khan himself.

Nawaz Sharif's return home

At the same time, politics has heated up in Pakistan after the return of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. In such a situation, Imran Khan expressed apprehension that an attempt could be made to kill him by giving him slow poison in jail. Imran said that this could be done to him because he had refused to leave the country.
