Indian men's hockey team defeated Pakistan 3-1 in their third round-robin stage match of Asian Champions Trophy 2021. Vice-captain Harmanpreet Singh scored twice, converting two penalty corners. It was India's second win in the tournament. They had earlier defeated hosts Bangladesh 9-0. Pakistan are still winless in the tournament, having drawn goal-less against Japan in their opening match.

Sports Desk: Harmanpreet Singh scored two goals as India defeated arch-rivals 3-1 in the Asian Champions Trophy Hockey 2021. Harmanpreet and Akashdeep gave India a 2-0 lead over their opponents after which Junaid Manzoor scored the first goal for Pakistan.

Harmanpreet then struck again and despite Pakistan trying their best to put pressure on India in the last comeback, the scoreline read 3-1 in India's favour when the final whistle was blown.

India have maintained their position at the top of the points table with 2 wins and a draw in three matches.
