COVID-19 Update / Infertility due to vaccine? Health Ministry responded to the rumor

Many types of rumors are constantly being spread about the corona vaccine, the effect of which is also being seen on the vaccination. On Monday, one such rumor was termed as false by the Union Health Ministry. The Health Ministry has said that there is no scientific evidence that proves that the corona vaccine causes infertility. A statement from the Ministry of Health said that some media reports had expressed concern that the vaccination could lead to infertility in men and women.

The ministry says that in the recent past, the issue was raised in media reports regarding the concern of frontline workers, superstition among healthcare workers and other things. Similar things had also come to the fore during polio and other vaccination drives.
