Cricket Desk: The Delhi Capitals (DC) and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) got their Indian Premier League (IPL) campaign underway on Sunday. Both the teams played out a thrilling game which ended in a tie as the Capitals won the match in the Super Over. However, apart from the game, KL Rahul’s comments that caught on the stump mic also went viral on Monday.

He could be seen hurling abuse in Kannada while asking one of his KXIP teammates to move on the field. He seemed quite animated while setting the field and even though Rahul was standing well behind the stumps, the fact that the matches are being played in empty stadium led to his voice being clearly heard on the mic.

“Munde baaro lo**a,” KL Rahul said hurling abuses in his mother tongue, Kannada. However, he soon realised that his comments could be heard and became quite.

Danish Sait’s hilarious comment on KL Rahul’s Insta post

As far as the action on the field is concerned, it was a brilliant game and both the teams were left ruing the chances to win the game in the allotted 40 overs. Even after losing in the Super Over, KL Rahul was delighted to be the part of the game and lauded the efforts of the team. He also posted a couple of pictures on Instagram and this is when RCB’s Mr Nags Danish Sait decided to troll the cricketer for his hilarious comments.

He commented the same words, KL Rahul had said on stump mic and termed those as ‘ Golden Words’ hilariously to troll the KXIP skipper. Even Mayank Agarwal was left in splits as he responded to Danish over his comment.

Interestingly, KXIP’s next game is against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on September 24 and KL Rahul’s men will be keen on earning two crucial points from this game. Meanwhile, RCB will start their IPL campaign on Monday with a game against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Mr Nags will be performing his duties again it seems.
