Cricket | Mayank Agarwal has been included in the Indian squad for the only Test match against England. Rohit Sharma was found positive in the Covid-19 test during the practice match against Leicestershire, so suspense remains on whether he will be able to play the Test match to be held in Birmingham from July 1.

According to the news of Cricbuzz, Mayank Agarwal has been called to include in the Test squad. The last match of the 2021 five-match Test series between India and England had to be postponed due to Kovid-19. India is leading 2-1 in the series and the last Test match of this series is now to be played from July 1.

The suspense over whether Rohit Sharma will be available for this match remains constant. Till now no announcement has been made by Team India regarding the captaincy. When Rohit was found to be Kovid-19 positive in the middle of the practice match, he was captained by Jasprit Bumrah. It is believed that if Rohit is unable to play this match, then Bumrah will take over the command of the team. KL Rahul is already out of this match due to injury.

If Rohit is also not available, then Mayank Agarwal can be seen opening the innings with Shubman Gill in his place. Rohit's RTPCR report is to come today. Today it can be decided whether he will be able to play the Test match to be held from July 1 or not.
