On Friday, the eighth installment of money to be given to farmers under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi will be released. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release these installments to the farmers themselves in a ceremony at 11 am on Friday.In this ceremony to be done through virtual medium, money will be sent to the account of about 95 million farmers across the country. In the eighth installment, a total of Rs 19000 crore will be sent simultaneously to the farmers' account. On this occasion, the Prime Minister will also talk to selected farmers, who will get benefits under this eighth installment. At the same time, Friday will also be special for the farmers of Bengal. The Mamata government, which has been opposing the implementation of this scheme of Modi government in Bengal, has finally decided to change its stand. Tomorrow, money will be sent to the account of the farmers of Bengal for the first time under this scheme.The central government was constantly trying to convince Mamata government to join this scheme but she was not ready for it. In the recently concluded assembly elections, PM Modi and BJP themselves made it a big issue. However tomorrow, money will not be sent to the account of all the farmers of Bengal as some technical formalities have not been completed by the state government.Six thousand rupees are sent every yearUnder the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme, 6000 rupees are sent to the accounts of eligible farmers every year. These rupees are sent in three installments every year at an interval of four months. The seventh installment was sent on 25 December last year on the occasion of the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. So far, about 1.5 lakh crore rupees have been sent to the accounts of farmers, including seven installments.
