Yangon: A seven-year-old girl was killed by Myanmar's army crossing all limits of cruelty. The police, who arrived to crush the protesters on the orders of the army, first entered the house by breaking the door and then shot a bullet in the head of the girl sitting on the father's lap. The deceased Khin Myo Chit is the youngest victim to have died in action taken against the protesters. Significantly, many people have died in police firing so far.

Police got angry on hearing the answer

According to CNN's report, the deceased's neighbor Sumaya reported that police were searching for the protesters in Mandalay city on Tuesday. Meanwhile, some policemen came and kicked and broke the door of Khin's house. After this, he entered inside with a shout. The policemen asked the deceased's father if anyone had gone outside for a demonstration. When the child's father refused to answer, the police were enraged.

20 children have been killed so far

Policemen beat up the girl's father, accusing him of lying. Seeing this, Khin Mayo Chit sat on her father's lap. Despite this, the policemen started firing bullets. One of the shots hit the girl and she died on the spot. According to a media report, 20 children have been killed in the army firing.

EU and US ban

The army was overthrown in Myanmar on 1 February. Since then, there have been demonstrations everyday. A large number of people have taken to the streets demanding the release of the arrested leaders. The army has arrested all the prominent leaders including Aung San Sukh and it is not ready to release them. The army claims that the election in November was rigged. Based on this, a year of emergency has been imposed. At the same time, the European Union and the United States have imposed sanctions against those involved in the coup. These people also include the name of the head of the military government and the commander-in-chief of the army, General Min Aung Liang.
