Intention of $ 30,000 billion economy by 2047

The Prime Minister is the chairman of Niti Aayog. The senior official said that before the meeting of the council, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman can present the outline of the vision and action plan of developed India in the budget on July 23. A vision paper is being prepared to make India a developed economy of $ 30,000 billion by 2047, the 100th year of India's independence.

NITI Aayog was tasked in 2023 to incorporate 10 sectoral themes into a cohesive vision for a developed India by 2047. The vision covers various aspects of development, including economic growth, social progress, environmental sustainability and better governance.
