Niti Aayog Meeting / The government's reply to Mamata's allegations came, saying- her time to speak was over

The 9th Governing Council meeting of Niti Aayog is being held under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in which CMs of many states are present, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also attended it, but she left the meeting midway. CM Mamata alleged that she was not allowed to speak and her mic was turned off. The government has rejected these allegations of hers.

The opposition parties have boycotted the Niti Aayog meeting being held in Delhi, alleging discrimination in the budget, despite which Mamata Banerjee was seen attending this meeting, but she left the meeting in a short time. Mamata came out of the meeting and talked to the media, in which she told that she was barred from speaking in the meeting and the mic was turned off.

Mic was turned off while speaking

Mamata accused the central government of discriminating against her, when she demanded funds during the meeting, her mic was turned off. She told that she was given only 5 minutes to speak in the meeting. Mamta has also accused the central government of insulting the opposition parties. She said that the government is discriminating against non-NDA ruled states.

Central government rejected the allegations

There is news from sources that the central government has rejected these allegations made by Mamta. The government said that all the claims being made by Mamta Banerjee are wrong. He told that Mamta Banerjee's mic was turned off when the time was over, even the bell was not rung to tell the time. He further told that on the basis of name, Mamta Banerjee's turn to speak was to come after lunch, but on the official request of the West Bengal government, she was allowed to speak in place of the 7th speaker. The West Bengal government had requested to speak early as they had to return early.
