Lok Sabha Election: In view of the Lok Sabha elections, preparations of political parties have intensified. AIMIM will contest elections on these 11 seats

State President of AIMIM has sent a proposal to Asaduddin Owaisi regarding 11 seats. These seats are Kishanganj, Katihar, Araria, Purnia, Karakat, Ujiarpur, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Gaya, Buxar and Bhagalpur. Let us tell you that many of these seats are from Seemanchal region of Bihar where there is a sizeable Muslim population.

Who will contest the elections from where?

AIMIM will contest elections on 11 seats in Bihar. Bihar unit of AIMIM has sent a proposal to Owaisi to contest elections on 11 seats. According to sources, Akhtarul Iman will contest from Kishanganj and party spokesperson Adil Hasan will contest from Katihar. Let us tell you that Owaisi's party had performed well in the Bihar Assembly elections and won 5 seats. However, 4 party MLAs later joined RJD.

Congress asked for 15 seats from RJD

According to sources, Congress has asked for 15 seats in Bihar from RJD. These include seats like Sasaram, Purnia, Khagaria, Nawada, Aurangabad, Katihar, Samastipur, Kishanganj, Motihari, West Champaran, Patna Sahib, Muzaffarpur, Buxar, Madhubani and Begusarai. Congress has asked RJD to contest these seats.
