According to Dharamveer Prajapati, BJP could not answer the opposition's allegations on the constitution and reservation. Om Prakash Rajbhar and Sanjay Nishad's sons have lost the election. Their statements have caused damage. Rajbhar's son Arvind Rajbhar was contesting from Ghosi. He faced defeat. At the same time, Sanjay Nishad's son Praveen Nishad had to face defeat from Sant Kabir Nagar.

BJP's worst performance in UP in 10 years

According to the Election Commission, BJP was successful in winning 33 seats in UP. SP got 37 seats. Congress won 6 and RLD won 2. This is the worst performance of BJP in UP in the last 10 years. In the 2014 and 2019 elections, it had won more than 60 seats. This time its target was Mission 80, but it could not even get half of its seats.

Many Union Ministers lost

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh were contesting from UP this time too. They managed to win in their respective constituencies. However, Union Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani and Union Heavy Industries Minister Mahendra Nath Pandey lost the election. Apart from Prime Minister Modi, 11 Union Ministers were in the electoral fray from Uttar Pradesh.

According to the Election Commission, the Union Ministers who won the election include Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary, Minister of State for Law and Justice SP Singh Baghel and Minister of State for Consumer Affairs and Industry Anupriya Patel. Apart from this, Smriti Irani, Mahendra Nath Pandey, Sanjeev Kumar Baliyan, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti Patel, Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma, Kaushal Kishore and Ajay Mishra lost the election.
