The cases of corona infection are increasing rapidly in the country. Record breaking new cases of Kovid-19 are coming out from all the states. According to the Ministry of Health, today 1.59 lakh new cases have been reported from across the country. While the number of active cases has crossed 5.90 lakhs. In view of the increasing cases of Corona, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has held a review meeting.Let us inform that information has been given by the Union Health Ministry that so far 3,623 cases of Omicron, the new variant of corona virus, have been reported from 27 states and union territories of India. According to the ministry, 1,409 patients infected with this variant have been cured so far. Maharashtra and Delhi have the highest number of cases of Omicron. There are 1009 cases of Omicron variant in Maharashtra. The active corona patients in the state are more than 51,000. According to the Union Health Ministry, there are 51,384 active cases in West Bengal. West Bengal ranks second after Maharashtra in terms of the maximum number of active patients, where the active caseload is 1,45,198.There is a possibility of going up to eight lakh cases in a dayThe level of the third wave of corona running in the country can go up to 8 lakh cases in a day. According to Professor Manindra Agarwal of IIT-Kanpur, the third wave of corona may reach its peak at the beginning of next month or even a little earlier. According to an estimate, 4 to 8 lakh cases can come in a day in the country. Simultaneously, the professor said that by mid-March, the third wave of the pandemic in India should be more or less over.
