Mahila Samridhi Yojana / 2500 Rs credited, Delhi women will not receive this message today

Women of Delhi were waiting for Rs 2500 to be credited today, but now it is clear that no money will be credited to anyone's account. Currently, only BPL card holders will get the benefit of Mahila Samman Yojana. Registration will start from today to prepare the list of eligible women.

Mahila Samridhi Yojana: Women waiting for Rs 2500 under Mahila Samman Yojana in Delhi have got a big shock. Today this amount will not be deposited in the account of any woman. Initially, the benefit of this scheme will be available only to BPL (below poverty line) card holder women.

Special benefits for BPL women

Under the Mahila Samman Yojana, only those women will get the benefit who are not taking advantage of any other government scheme. Apart from this, the age of the beneficiary should be between 21 to 60 years and it will be mandatory for them to register for it.

Some eligibility conditions have been fixed for getting BPL card in Delhi:

The applicant must be a resident of Delhi for at least five years.

It is necessary to have an Aadhaar card.

It is necessary to have an Aadhaar linked single bank account in Delhi.

The annual income should be less than Rs 1,00,000.

Documents required for BPL card

Income certificate – Certificate issued by SDM or authorized officer of Revenue Department for annual income up to Rs 3 lakh.

National Food Security Card – For families with annual income less than Rs 1 lakh.

Women's displeasure

Former Chief Minister of Delhi and Leader of Opposition Atishi said that women were eagerly waiting for this scheme. They were eager to see the message of Rs 2500 being credited on their phones, but today the money did not come to their account. This has increased their disappointment.

Decision will be taken in Delhi Cabinet meeting

There will be a meeting of Delhi Cabinet at 11 am today, in which Chief Minister Rekha Gupta will discuss this scheme. During this, the guidelines of the scheme will be issued and the registration process will start. The amount will be transferred to their accounts only after the list of eligible beneficiaries is prepared.
