4 temples in four corners of the temple

This temple of Lord Shri Ram is spread over 2.77 acres. 4 temples have been established in the four corners of the temple complex. The first temple is of Lord Ganesha, Goddess Bhagwati is present in the second temple. The third one has the idol of Lord Shiva and the fourth one has the idol of Suryadev. The wall of the temple is 732 meters. While the length of the temple is 380 feet and width is 250 feet. The height of the temple is 161 feet. The temple has 3 floors. The height of each floor is 20 feet. On the ground floor is the sanctum sanctorum of Ramlala, where he is seated in the form of a child. 160 pillars have also been made in the ground floor, on which the roof of the temple rests.

32 steps at the entrance of the temple

The entrance gate of Ram temple is also called 'Singh Dwar'. To enter the temple, one has to climb 32 steps of the Singh Gate. The total height of the 32 stairs is 16.5 feet. Statues of Jai-Vijay have also been installed at the main gate as gatekeepers. When moving towards the sanctum sanctorum from the stairs, the first thing is the Nritya Mandap, it has 8 pillars. Moving from Nrityamandap towards the sanctum sanctorum, there is Rangamandap. Ganapati is seated on four pillars between them. There are idols of Ganapati on the four pillars of the Sabha Mandap. Right in front of the Sabha Mandap is the sanctum sanctorum, through which one can have darshan of Ramlala through a gold-encrusted door. Ramps and lifts have also been arranged for the disabled and elderly people to climb the temple.

100 kg gold layer on doors

There are 12 gates on the ground floor of the temple. There are 14 doors on the ground floor and all of them are coated with gold. The height of the golden door in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple is about 12 feet while its width is 8 feet. Including all three floors, there will be a total of 46 doors in the temple, out of which 42 will be coated with 100 kg gold. Whereas there are 4 doors near the stairs which are not plated with gold. The entire temple is being designed in such a way that whatever devotees come, they stay in the premises for at least 1 hour.

There are a total of 132 pillars on the first floor.

132 pillars have been constructed on the first floor of the temple. Just above the sanctum sanctorum, there will be the court of Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram. It is here that the throne will be installed on which Lord Shri Ram will sit as the king along with Ramlala, Mother Sita and brother Lakshman. Hanuman ji will also be seen sitting here. Apart from Ram Darbar, other temples are also being built on the first floor. A balcony has been built around it, from where devotees will be able to see the entire Ayodhya.
