Cyclone Biparjoy: The cyclonic storm in the northeastern region of the Arabian Sea has now become very severe. During the last 6 hours, it was moving in North direction with a speed of 3 kmph. This morning the storm lay centered 280 km west-southwest of Jakhau Port (Gujarat). And it is centered 290 km west-southwest from Devbhoomi Dwarka.The storm is moving forwardThe storm lay centered about 350 km west-northwest of Gujarat coast Naliya, 350 km west-northwest of Porbandar and about 340 km south-southwest of Karachi in Pakistan. This storm is continuously moving forward.Landfall expected tomorrow eveningThe storm will cross Saurashtra and Kutch while moving northeast. It is likely to make landfall at Jakhau Port (Gujarat) between Mandvi (Gujarat) and Karachi (Pakistan) on the evening of June 15.290 KM away from Kutch, NDRF deployed, 200 teams of electricians at workCyclone Biparjoy is 290 km away from Kutch. The storm will make landfall on June 15 around 5 pm. NDRF teams have been deployed in all the potentially affected districts. There is a possibility of more rain in Kutch and Dwarka. Till now 50 thousand people have been taken to safe places. 200 teams of electricity workers have been deployed. Stock of electricity pole, asphalt has been prepared. NDRF and SDRF teams have reached all the dangerous places. Satellite phone and ham radio teams have also been kept ready for communication. Trees were uprooted at many places in Surat due to the strong wind. Many trees have fallen near Anjana Farm in the cyclone storm. A young man was talking on a mobile phone when a tree fell on him. Thankfully the young man's life was saved. The whole incident got recorded in CCTV. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel held an emergency meeting. IMD has now issued Red Alert on Saurashtra-Kutch coast instead of Orange.The biggest danger in Gujarat, 10 thousand died in the cyclone of 1998The danger of cyclone Biparjoy remains intact. Tomorrow, on the evening of June 15, it will reach the Gujarat coast. According to the Meteorological Department, due to the cyclone, there can be flood in the coastal areas. Earlier, 10,000 people were killed in the cyclone that hit Gujarat in 1998.
