India-UAE Relation: Relations between India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have reached new heights in the last few years, with extensive cooperation in areas such as fintech, renewable energy, infrastructure and defence. India's Foreign Minister S Jaishankar on Thursday drew special attention to this and said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's historic visit to the UAE in 2015 had ushered in a new era of cooperation between the two countries.

S Jaishankar, in his address at the inauguration of a new campus of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) in Pune, said that India-UAE relations have now truly entered a new era. He said, "PM Modi's visit to the UAE in 2015 laid the foundation for a deeper relationship between the two countries, which has led to unprecedented improvement and growth in our bilateral relations." Jaishankar also said that the inauguration of the Symbiosis campus in Dubai is a major step towards promoting educational and cultural exchange between India and the UAE.

Jaishankar said that cooperation with UAE in education and skill development will help prepare the youth of India for the global workplace. He said that with high quality education, India can prepare its citizens in accordance with global standards, which will further increase our prospects at the international level. The inauguration of the Symbiosis campus in Dubai is a step in this direction, which will provide Indian students with a global education experience and further strengthen the educational partnership between the two countries.
