The announcement of 400 new Vande Bharat trains made by the Central Government in the budget has raised new hopes for the railway passengers who dream of high speed trains in the country. Now Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav himself has given the good news and said that the routes and timetable of the new Vande Bharat train services will be finalized soon. He said that new rakes are expected to come from August-September.

Vaishnav, while addressing reporters after an event organized to start the 5th and 6th line between Thane and Diva on the Central Railway network, said that 75 Vande Bharat trains are being manufactured, while another 400 rakes are being built in the Union Budget. decision has been taken.

“The route and timetable will be finalized soon. All parts of the country will get these services. These trains are being manufactured at the Chennai factory of the Railways. The dispatch of these trains will start from August-September.

Railway Minister Vaishnav said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had given a vision to replace old trains with new 'rolling stock' and the two Vande Bharat trains, which were introduced in 2019, became the nation's identity across the world. He also said that the new lines between Thane and Diva are a new chapter of transport here, enabling more than one lakh people from Mumbai, Thane and Kalyan to travel in a convenient way.
