Jammu And Kashmir / Security forces got major success against terrorists in Rajouri

Jammu And Kashmir: Swift action is being taken against terrorists in the valley. The security forces have achieved great success in the ongoing encounter in Rajouri and another terrorist has also been killed. Earlier, a terrorist had been killed and a soldier was also martyred in this encounter. A total of 3 people are also injured.

Earlier, news had come out that as part of the encounter operation being conducted by the Army in Rajouri, an Army dog sacrificed its life while protecting its handler. Jammu Defense PRO said, 'A 6-year-old female Labrador of 21 Army Dog Unit sacrificed her life while protecting her handler during the ongoing Rajouri encounter operation in Jammu and Kashmir. The army dog was leading a squad of soldiers in search of the fleeing terrorists. He died in the firing.

Recently terrorist recruitment module was busted

Baramulla Police had achieved a major success on September 10 and busted a terrorist recruitment module. During this period, three terrorist associates of Lashkar were arrested. Incriminating material including 3 hand grenades and 30 AK-47 live rounds were recovered from their possession. A case under sections of UA(P) and Arms Act was registered at PS Kreri and investigation into the matter was initiated. Baramulla Police had given this information.
