Paper Leak Law: A social media post by Congress leader Shashi Tharoor is creating a lot of ruckus. In this post, Tharoor had supported a meme that made fun of Uttar Pradesh. BJP leaders got angry over this and targeted Tharoor fiercely. Although Tharoor's target was the paper leak, he himself got entangled in the definition of Uttar Pradesh. Congress leader Shashi Tharoor shared a picture on Instagram which had a question and an answer. The question in Hindi was, "What is Uttar Pradesh?" The answer was: "The state where the answer is known before the exam is called Uttar Pradesh." Shashi Tharoor called the post "fantastic" and shared it with the hashtag "Pariksha Pe Charcha". Pariksha Pe Charcha is an initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Through this, he talks to the students before the exam and encourages them. Shashi Tharoor took a dig at this. Bharatiya Janata Party leaders criticised him and said the Thiruvananthapuram MP's post reflected the shameless politics of shaming fellow Indians. Rajeev Chandrasekhar remembers PitrodaFormer Union minister Rajiv Chandrasekhar also reacted to Tharoor's tweet and said, "Shameless politics of shaming other fellow Indians - that is the Congress way, which has been expertly demonstrated by this self-proclaimed global citizen." "Just a few months ago, another Congress member "global citizen" Pitroda had described Indians as Africans, Chinese, Middle Eastern etc. This kind of superiority complex is deeply ingrained in the Congress DNA," Chandrasekhar wrote on Twitter. Hardeep Singh Puri explains the meaning of UPUnion Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said he was surprised that Tharoor chose to stereotype, trivialise and caricature an entire state in this manner. "Seriously, Shashi Tharoor do you want to take this discussion to this level? Uttar Pradesh is not only known for its contribution to our civilisation but has also produced countless literary figures, political stalwarts and successful individuals. Ironically, it is also home to the First Family, to whom all Congress leaders bow down. Despite the privilege of being educated in the best institutions, I am surprised that you chose to stereotype, trivialise and caricature an entire state in this manner. Serious introspection required, my friend," Puri posted on Instagram.
Himanta Biswa Sarma takes aimReacting to Shashi Tharoor's post, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said the Congress leader has "succumbed to the whispers of madness, his mind is drifting in a supernatural fog of insanity." "This gentleman often keeps on satirising different cultures (first the Northeast and now Uttar Pradesh) and his words are very sharp. He has succumbed to the whispers of madness and his mind is immersed in a fog of insanity," Sarma said.Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri tweets, "Seriously, Shashi Tharoor is this the level to which you wish to take this discourse?
